Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst is an integral part of the Walt Disney World Commercial Finance team supporting the Walt Disney Travel Company and Disney Central call center operations. Disney Central is the main provider of vacation planning for all WDW Guests and third party travel businesses around the globe. This position will get to analyze products, metrics, and trends of both revenue and expense in order to assist partners and leaders across the segment to make business decisions and improve performance.

This position requires a professional that is highly motivated and a self-starter. This individual must be able to develop professional relationships with various business partners at all levels and across different organizations. The candidate must be able to identify problems and develop innovative solutions to further efforts toward continuous process improvements. In addition, they must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and be able to perform a variety of tasks under time pressure and strict deadlines. The role is expected to be based in Orlando, FL, with a mix of remote and in-office work.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans (analytical support)
  • Provide analytical support for projects supporting various business initiatives across the site
  • Streamline processes with a focus on new technology to drive business performance
  • Identify and drive continuous process improvements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong partnering, influencing, and communication skills up and down the organizational structure to convey key elements in a concise and positive manner
  • Demonstrate problem solving, decision making, and continuous process improvement skills
  • Showcase strong analytical skills through storytelling and strategic thinking
  • Responsibility/independence, with the ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience and strong understanding of SAP, company hierarchy, Longview and BW Reporting
  • Experience working with business partners in an operating environment

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

Preferred Education

  • MBA or equivalent

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
