Workplace Investing serves as the primary entry point into the Fidelity complex for a large portion of our clients. WI creates value for the Fidelity through Workplace savings and benefit solutions.
This position will be responsible for evaluating pricing and fees in Fidelity's Workplace Investing businesses for our Select, Large and Tax Exempt clients. The analyst uses marketplace knowledge, analytical skills and influencing skills to develop competitive pricing strategies that help acquire or retain clients, enhance product development and optimize profitability for long-term benefit. The position regularly presents pricing issues, risks and recommendations to Sales, Relationship Management, Segment Leaders and Finance.
The Expertise You Have
College degree in Finance or Accounting
4+ years work and/or internship experience in a Finance role

Strong PC skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, with significant emphasis on Excel
Proven analytical/problem solving abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to influence senior level positions
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
Ability to show team leadership through collaboration with fellow team members
The Value You Deliver
Analyze client pricing requests from Sales and Relationship Management for financial wellness and approval to proceed.
Develop financial models and pricing proposals that conform to business guidelines to assist the Sales organization in acquiring new clients
Evaluate existing client deals as changes occur to the plan and it’s participants, product offering, fee structure and/or other key underlying assumptions.
Evaluate client specific metrics and challenge assumptions as appropriate to ensure that projected profitability and required fees are sufficient.
Analyze financial information and pro-actively create alternative pricing scenarios that enhance win rate, strengthen client retention, minimize risk and improve profitability.
Present pricing proposals to key business partners and Senior Management to gain consensus on steps moving forward.
Continually prioritize requests to be completed based on a variety of factors including age, potential need for additional approvals, or client need
Proactively raise pricing issues, trends and process improvement opportunities as appropriate.
