Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide the day-to-day reporting as well as ad hoc analytical support to the DTCR business. In this position you will interact regularly with cross-functional partners in finance, merchandise planning, the field organization, supply chain, and marketing to support important business decisions and provide analysis and recommendations on key strategic initiatives that are important to the success of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting of our key financial metrics to provide the business with our overall performance and help guide decisions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business and proactively provide financial analyses and support through reporting and fact based interpretation of results
  • Actively lead the monthly financial forecasting process to build the daily sales and promotional strategy for the business to ensure that it meets its financial objectives.
  • Actively participate in quarter-close processes by highlighting quarterly key performance variances to forecast and last year.
  • Continue to search for improvements in efficiencies in reporting and tools to allow the team to spend more time analyzing and recommending business driving decisions versus reporting results.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Business, Finance or equivalent)
  • 1-3 years experience required with demonstrated forecasting, budgeting and analysis knowledge
  • Attention to detail, commitment to accuracy of work, and the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to summarize results and findings in a clear and concise executive level format
  • Track record of working independently and delivering results in a highly organized manner
  • Ability to interact with senior executives, as well as all levels within the organization
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to drive and lead projects, multi-task to meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities
  • Collaborative and enjoys working with peers across a variety of businesses.
  • Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior retail experience a plus

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
