An amazing opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst.  The post holder will act as a Business Partner to the Digital teams to produce all Capex submissions, ensuring accurate costing of all costs and benefits. As well as driving the business performance through accurate, reliable and insightful financial reporting and analysis, to aid commercial decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Head of Digital on building robust and deliverable Roadmap, supporting investigations into future technologies that will form the makeup of future roadmap.

• Overseeing the preparation of business cases and post implementation reviews for projects.

• Working with relevant teams to ensure accurate capex forecasting.

• Consistent alignment with Trade and Marketing teams on all activity.

• Business partner with key operational Ecommerce stakeholders to influence and assist in providing insight to ensure key operational KPI’s are robust and delivered.

• Owns specific cost lines within the month end accounting process, including accruals & prepayments, journal posting and analysis & commentary on variances to forecast.

• Supports Business Partner in formulation of corporate quarterly forecasts, producing robust and accurate forecasts for specific cost lines.

• Deliver consistent and compelling weekly business updates that provide concise, fact-based diagnostics regarding business performance, thereby facilitating timely decision-making.

• Support the multi-channel team and ecommerce budget holders on any ad-hoc analysis.

• Challenge Business Partner on performance & ways of working to develop practises currently in place.

• Robust forecasts and budget, challenging figures to ensure accuracy.

• Identifying any risk s or opportunities and flagging.

• Ah hoc analysis and modelling to inform business marking decisions.

About You:

• Part or Qualified professional accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA/ ACA)

• Previous experience in a commercial environment, ideally with a retail background (Ecommerce experience desirable)

• Business Partnering experience

• Commercial awareness

• Effective communication with Head of and Director level

• The ability to juggle a variety of tasks in a time pressured environment where re-prioritising is the norm

• Solid analytical and data interpretation skills

• Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to challenge when required and work well within and across both finance and operational teams

• Advanced excel skills
