Responsibilities :

• Liaise with suppliers to procure the state-of-the-art machineries to support the process and product innovation to cater the increasing demand of the customers.
• Liaise with material suppliers to source innovative dyes and chemicals to enhance the product performance and provides innovative tech solves to External labs, concept houses, vendors.
• Develop lab dips based on the given customer standard and set standard dyeing recipes and profiles which ensures the consistency in bulk production.
• Guide the team to solve day to day Dyed Yarn Tech issues using 5 whys and 8 steps methods.
• Assist the team in resolving technical issues such as attaining the required shade wash fastness etc in order meet requirements.
• Check status of all bulk batches approved/pending approval at the quality assurance laboratory and ensure that corresponding instructions/comments are followed and fed into the process.
• Ensure that all batches which have failed the required standards are reprocessed bearing in mind the maintenance of the required quality standards for appearance and performance.
• Conduct a random audit on machine settings, programs and processes in order to ensure that instructions are carried out as per recipe card.
• Carry out process improvement initiatives in order to enhance performance of finished products in parameters such as shade, wash fastness, rubbing fastness, water fastness etc.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Textile or Chemical Processing Engineering.
• 3 - 4 years of an industrial experience.
