Job Description
CVS Healthcare is looking for a Systems Engineer with Confluent Kafka and System Integration experience to be a member of a team that will design, build, deliver, and maintain a Multi-Platform Shared Enterprise ETL Platforms. This will be a Multi-Tiered and Multi-Clustered environment both on prem and in the cloud. The candidate must embrace technology and be a technical evangelist viewing technology as a solution to advance our consumer engagement and best in class experience.
As Specialty Engineer, resource will provide technical leadership for our Enterprise infrastructure team. Candidate will Support Various ETL infrastructure like Infoworks and Informatica, working with different technology groups and vendor partners. Help establish enterprise standards and train end users on successful use of the platform while providing expertise for the platform for both development and administration.

Resource will work with support the Infoworks and Informatica technologies while coordinating infrastructure efforts for application projects. Partner with the Enterprise IT organization to ensure the delivery of effective and highly available infrastructure requirements are met. Create system integration approach and design in support of ETL.

Build, maintain and support multiple versions of ETL Enterprise Infrastructures and perform product administrative functions. Lead patches and upgrades, configuring, tuning and monitoring.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience with ETL technologies.
3+ Years of Data warehousing experience
1+ years of Infrastructure experience on Infoworks
2+ years’ experience in a cloud computing environment, preferably GCP.
3+ years of Linux experience.
2+ years experience working in mission critical large enterprise production environments with strong HA/DBAR knowledge.
2+ years performance tuning
2+ years experience with security policies and guidelines, adherence/enforcement of company policies and standards, and authorization and authentication for protecting sensitive assets.

Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of Relevant Experience1+ year of ETL Platforms experience. Ability to work off hours including nights and weekends. Ability to be on call in a team rotational schedule

-Providing technical support of Middleware technologies through the installation and configuration of new environments.
– Administering performance testing and high availability of the system.
– Administering ETL Infrastructure Build & Maintenance & Standards.
– Monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting the system.
– Partnering with other team members to monitor, tune and optimize the system and work flow processes.
– Providing user management and change management assistant for ETL.

Ability to work with a team in a fast paced environment. Ability to solve technical problems quickly. Experience with Confluent Cloud Deployments. Experience with Unix Scripting. Experience with automation, preferably Ansible. Ability to concisely explain complex technical findings to audiences at all levels

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field – required
Master’s degree preferred
