Frasers Group are currently looking for a Senior eCommerce Portfolio Manager to lead a team including a Delivery Manager and Systems Analysts, working closely with them to ensure all key projects are being appropriately managed and visibility of progress, risks and issues remain a key focus. The eCommerce development teams are currently 30 strong (mainly permanent heads) with support from trusted digital consultancies as and when needed. We have established full stack developers, complimented by specialists in the front end and UX design space. The Senior eCommerce Portfolio Manager role is a key combination of Agile portfolio management, business relationship management and pure play delivery management. This role would particularly suit someone who has a strong background in eCommerce technology.
This role will be pivotal in leading our delivery efforts and helping to maximise revenue and customer experience in our eCommerce channel. This will include accommodating multi-faceted digital projects, 3rd party system and data integrations.
You will play a central role in orchestrating the eCommerce business stakeholders and ensuring the development teams are helping to deliver projects which are directly linked to our core business KPIs and objectives. This will involve chairing regular meetings, where business strategies will be set and occasional conflicts will need to be resolved.
You will need to be able to understand and articulate the value of the work in the eCommerce portfolio and be ruthless in ensuring the teams are only working on the highest value work at all times.
Helping business stakeholders to articulate and document their high level requirements will be fundamental to helping us unleash the value of their ideas.
You will be accountable for tracking and reporting on the work flowing through the department, with support from your team. You will provide indicative delivery dates based on team performance metrics and the complexity of work in the backlog. You will also be the escalation point for blockages that the teams are unable to resolve themselves.

This role can be based either from London or North Nottinghamshire, with travel to be expected to both sites. Whilst we’re happy to accommodate people in the office full time, we would encourage a hybrid mix of working from home and being in the office.
