Senior E-Commerce Growth Manager
This role is remote and can be based anywhere in the Eastern or Central time zones.
The Senior E-Commerce Growth Manager is part of the newly established team responsible for bringing ecommerce expertise to the broader cross functional team working on Cox Automotive's recently launched Esntial CommerceTM platform, the Automotive industry's first automated, scalable B2B2C eCommerce solution for Used Car sales.
Reporting to the Director, Digital Commerce Growth, this individual will develop strategies and actions to help our clients (Dealership groups) profitably grow their Digital Commerce channel while also driving a paradigm shift in the auto shopping consumer experience.
This individual will support in identifying and coordinating the execution of actions to achieve our budget and long-range plan. This will include collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to translate ecomm best practices into elements of our product roadmap, actively drive the acceleration of our experimentation efforts, and supporting in driving growth through our clients.
Additionally, and just as importantly, the Director of Digital Commerce Growth will be a key player in catalyzing a cultural and mindset shift across the broader cross functional team to move and think at the speed and urgency of retail eCommerce.
This role requires a balance of internal capability and culture building, change management, and the ability to influence senior executives within Dealer groups, through data and proven best practices, and help them achieve their digital commerce goals.

Builds plan to achieve business growth goals and own delivery of plan with cross functional partners, including conversion rate optimization
Establish credibility as an internal thought leader on strategic and business issues
Interpret complex data and distill it into concise, relevant presentation for an executive audience
Think strategically, abstractly, in broad concepts and terms and apply to tangible plans
Display passion for storytelling, developing fresh ideas, and translating market insights into compelling pitches
Works with cross functional partners (Strategy, Finance, Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Legal, and People Solutions) to execute on strategies and plans
Provides perspective / input into product roadmap & experimentation pipeline
Maintains a close understanding of evolving trends, and develops plans and aligns resources and capabilities to meet and anticipate customer needs in the long term
Catalyzes a cultural and mindset shift across the broader cross functional team to move and think at the speed and urgency of retail eCommerce
Fosters organic and dynamic collaboration across all organizational functions (Strategy, Finance, Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Legal, and People Solutions) to create innovative product solutions and enhance and elevate the client experience
Stays abreast of and disseminate ecommerce best practices to internal and external stakeholder groups

WHO YOU ARE
Qualifications:
7 years of relevant work experience
BS/BA degree
Or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in eCommerce space, either with a Retailer, Branded Manufacturer or Platform
Broad understanding of eCommerce disciplines, from demand generation to conversion and post purchase experience; ability to articulate and coordinate multi-pronged approach to achieve growth goals
Proven track record of scaling an eCommerce business
Experience leading and influencing cross functional partners
Alignment of activities and resources around a clear understanding of customer desires and how to help customers achieve their goals
Analytical with proficiency in data analysis and reporting action-oriented insights
Commitment to continuous improvement of business practices and to ensuring that completed work adheres to the highest standards of excellence
Experience in businesses based on technology, software, digital marketing/media, eCommerce
Knowledge of Automotive industry trends, customer behaviors, and enabling technological capabilities is preferred but not required
MBA or other relevant graduate degree
