The EMEA SIP team have the following core responsibilities & accountabilities:
• Planning Finished Goods Supply across multiple manufacturing operations (both internal & external) providing both regional and global supply over 0 -18 month horizon. This is delivered to optimize E2E critical metrics through leverage of the operating model. These planning responsibilities incorporate 48% of global FG supply in 2022. This includes:
• LEGO Group manufacturing in Czech Republic & Hungary
• External suppliers including Poland & others
• Actively contribute to - and participate in - Global LEGO Group Sales and Operations Planning process.
• Lead, manage & engage team of 10 individual contributors.
• Have a major leadership impact to the EMEA Supply Chain Operations Leadership Team beyond immediate functional responsibility
• Own the regional Finished Goods SIP capability across a zero-to-eighteen-month horizon, based on the needs of the business, our consumers & our customers. This includes process, system, & organisation capability
• Provide strategic leadership & contribution to development of Global SIP capability
• Collaborate with, and build influencing & supporting relationships with critical partners in Regional & Local Market Operations, Manufacturing sites, the Global Supply Chain and other regional teams
• Bring both functional and business leadership skills to bear in order to optimize the performance and capability of the team
• Provide leadership vision to help us transform, as well as resilience in leading a team operating with the limitations of our current tools which can create significant pressure on the value chain of our growing business
• The regional/ global scope of the role requires an ability to influence across multiple cultures and time horizons (operational to strategic)
• Ability to navigate the E2E value chain through a knowledge of Supply Planning, upstream manufacturing operations and downstream market and customer operations
• Significant challenges will be posed via growth & optimization
• Global and regional scope with a significant impact on the Global & Regional Pinnacle performance indicators (Customer Pulse, EVA)
• This role has a pivotal position in the overall value chain, enabling transparency & influence over of the full end-to-end Supply chain
• Proximity to key Supply Chain roles & market operations, make this a role that can provide a strong leadership development path into multiple ELT areas • Supply Planning experience gained with proximity to manufacturing operations
• Extensive experience of leading teams
• End-to-end experience within a supply chain
• Proven track record in collaborating and influencing across different cultures – both in Europe and globally
• Experience delivering results over a strategic & operational horizon
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think critically, allied with the pragmatism and ability to operate with, and adapt, sub-optimal processes and tools
• Ability to make the complex simple, drive effective decision-making within cross-functional management teams, and great communication skills.
