Our Integrated Portfolio Services (IPS) platform collaborates with JLL brokerage professionals to leverage their strong, local relationships to win centralized, multi-market, multi-service line pursuits. Our clients engage JLL to:
Develop portfolio strategies
Execute transactions
Oversee construction projects
Administer and execute leases
Determine how best to manage their diverse portfolios
The Opportunity
The IPS team provides pursuit strategy and assists our brokers with delivering market-leading solutions to JLL’s local, regional and global portfolio clients. We are looking to expand the national IPS sales team with dynamic, future-ready business development professionals. These roles involve driving the sales strategy-from identifying the need to developing the client-centric solutions and the pricing model to winning the business. The successful candidates will be digitally savvy and have the skills to successfully articulate and sell futuristic technology and tools that are changing the landscape of the real estate industry.
Responsibilities
Partner with the IPS leaders to execute business development strategy, client development activities, and client relationship management for the various IPS platform services
Collaborate with JLL brokerage professionals to source and win IPS business
Develop effective business development strategies, from identifying the client needs, aligning to pain points, and determining appropriate solutions and pricing
Generate multi-service business opportunities with brokers nationally across various Markets
Understand and clearly communicate how our products and service offerings can solve client needs of today and in the future; including our digital products
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the competitive environment and understand how workplace trends and technology are changing the needs and demands of our clients
Coordinate activities related to a pursuit, including the coordination of cross-business line resources to create proposals, presentations and RFP materials
Educate and train brokerage professionals on JLL’s service offerings and how to leverage JLL’s global platform and differentiators
Facilitate the successful transition of new accounts

Experience
Outstanding sales skills-both internally as a leader and externally to clients/prospects
Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to deliver compelling stories for the win
8+ years of commercial real estate experience (backgrounds in brokerage, transactions management, or strategic portfolio management will be considered)—strongly prefer current JLL employees with sales/business development aspirations. Compensation will be salary plus bonus model.
Extensive experience in multi-service client assignments
Recognizes and acts on evolving technology trends impacting the business and drives profitable growth through commercialization of our data, technologies, and analytics offerings.
Established reputation and extensive involvement in the local commercial real estate community
Proven track record of organically growing client relationships which have resulted in expanded revenue for JLL
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and keen understanding of how to leverage these in the business development process
Ability to develop and maintain strong internal team relationships resulting in outstanding results, delighted clients, and impeccable references for future clients
Extremely organized and capable of managing multiple initiatives with minimal direction
Track record of exceptional performance and accelerated career advancement
