Core Responsibilities:

• Drive delivery against portfolio requirements, ensuring prioritization and allocating of resources for optimal delivery aligned with platform, incubator and organizational broader strategy​
• Lead growth platform Technical Leads & progress and accelerate open innovation approach​
• Drive and collaborate with stakeholders, functional managers, and cross-functional staff to facilitate seamless project execution â€‹
• Discover, develop and implement new technologies and capabilities that advance Innovation and company objectives​
• Develop unique, proprietary (and ideally patentable) intellectual property that yields a competitive advantage​
• Become the industry thought leader balancing the needs of the consumer, customer with the needs of the business, inspiring those around you to do the same​
• Strengthen Technical leadership and teams to build long term differentiated capabilities delivering a strategic advantage​
• Develop a strong partnership with corporate M&A to continuously identify strategic growth & development opportunities via partnerships & acquisitions​

Qualified candidates will have:

• PhD/MS degree in food science, chemistry, or related scientific field (e.g. engineering, nutrition, food technology) with 10 to 15+ years of well-rounded R&D/product development experience across categories preferred​
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams as well as develop and mentor individuals and allocate resources strategically according to the portfolio priorities​
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management and Product Lifecycle Management practices for large-scale projects preferred​
• Superior analytical, quantitative, leadership, and interpersonal skills​
