Job Description:
This Senior Director role is a member of the finance team that supports PI’s Regional Center business, delivering impactful, insightful, and actionable financial analysis to our business partners to guide effective decision-making. The primary objective of the role will be to provide strategic insights and analysis to measure and evaluate the financial performance of the business, working across teams to monitor progress on key initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting Finance’s efforts in the growth, development, and scaling of the business supporting the largest live channel organization across Fidelity. You will be responsible for leading the MYP and annual planning process, ongoing and ad-hoc business performance measurement, and leading consultative analytics including executive level recommendations for key strategic priorities of the Regional Center organization. You will also help contribute to the management and development of junior associates on the team.
As a member of the Personal Investing Finance team, you will be responsible for providing senior management with insightful, action-oriented financial analysis to guide effective decision-making that impacts Fidelity’s clients and associates. This role will be key in supporting Finance’s efforts in the growth and development of the business.
The Expertise You Have
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred
10+ years of professional experience in Finance with a successful track record in financial modeling and analysis
Proven ability to combine a strategic business perspective with strong project management and analytical skills, with solid business and financial acumen
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to 'tell the story†and craft presentations to communicate complex financial information to influence executive decision making
Strong interpersonal skills, proactively building consultative relationships across Finance and the business
Solid knowledge and expertise in financial, presentation, and data visualization tools (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Thinkcell, Tableau, CWE/SQL)
Intellectual curiosity, flexibility, and the ability to contribute to the team are musts

Leading analyses and strategic recommendations to management and business partners
Synthesizing data, analyses, and conclusions into presentation form for senior management
Thinking and working across not only PI, but enterprise-wide to ensure consistency in analysis approach, standards for data and definitions, and proactive support of time critical projects
Proactive partnership and communication with business and Finance partners
Using tools and business knowledge to continuously provide insightful information, reporting and analytics that evolve with changes in the business
Working with the business to understand investment opportunities and provide cost benefit analyses to support decision making
