Bring your passion for retail to the LEGO® Retail Marketing team to help us reach more families and bring them the best product range, value proposition and shopping experience.

This highly analytical and strategic role will be at the heart of ensuring an ever-stronger shopper-value proposition across all product categories within LEGO® Retail globally (stores and online). This is a newly created leadership position that will be responsible for building a new team to deliver the ultimate experience in LEGO branded channels.

Core Responsibilities

• Accountable for the LEGO® Retail Category Strategy across owned channels to deliver enhanced performance, spend efficiency and support our retail growth journey.

• Own the development of business and category plans, drive market penetration plans, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and profit.

• Improve the value and impact of the LEGO® Retail Marketing category investments to support long-term brand building and short-term revenues.

• Lead projects to optimize category performance and steer to implementation across LEGO Retail functions.

• Bring to bear a broad partner network to drive category improvements (margin and consumer sales).

• Drive market research and monitor competitive activity to identify and better serve shoppers’ needs (parents, adults, children).

• Analyze and report to Senior Leadership category business performance to ensure achievement of category metrics and plan.

• Be a partner for product portfolio strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing.

• Proven track record in leading and building teams to ensure organizational efficiency through effective motivation, training and development.

• Experience working in a global business with strong multi-cultural teams.

• Advanced analytical skills, data-driven way of working, solution driven and result oriented, strong business orientation.

• Several years of relevant professional experience in product information management, category management or business development.

• Strong project and portfolio management experience.

• Excellent influencer and natural collaborator.

• Holistic thinker – establish and drive end-to-end strategies and initiatives encompassing multiple functions.

• Successful track record of leading to completion change and transformation programs.

• Proficiency in English, written and oral, is required.
