Within the Client Unit Personal & Business Banking of ABN AMRO we are looking for a Sr. Digital marketer E-commerce.

Your job

As a Digital marketer responsible for the online sales & engagement results on our strategically most important customer groups. For example, think of self-employed people and doctors. You immerse yourself in these customer groups and develop the online store with innovative, well-converting and customer-friendly propositions. You develop and execute state of the art online (paid & owned) campaigns. You use your online and offline customer insights, your knowledge of the latest market developments, and your up-to-date online marketing skills.

 

A selection of your tasks:

  • You develop and optimize online campaigns (paid & owned)
  • You coordinate the deployment of part of the e-commerce team and stakeholders from other departments to realize the devised campaigns;
  • You maintain a tight Agile planning and monitor the progress, budget and end results of your actions.
  • Within the e-commerce & engagement team Customer Groups you work in a multidisciplinary team with a focus on the e-commerce and engagement of selected business segments. You work closely with other digital marketers, data specialists and optimization specialists, online model & form developers, copywriters, and content managers.
     

Working environment

From Tikkie to personalized mobile advertising and a chatbot that really helps you further: at Customer & Digital Engagement (CDE) we devise and build the online store in which we sell all digital products and services of ABN AMRO. Based on the conviction that online banking can always be easier, faster, more fun and more personal, we develop great solutions that give customers more control over their banking affairs. With a gigantic mountain of data as a basis and our usability lab as a test station, we are building an agile digital store that surprises and helps customers. Continuously exceeding the expectations of our customers, that is our daily work. 

 

The 100+ colleagues in the E-commerce & Engagement teams within CDE run and optimize the online store and are responsible for all digital customer contacts. We monitor and fine-tune our contact moments with customers on a daily basis. Within our team you work every day in an agile environment with colleagues with diverse digital expertise such as Online Sales, Optimization, Marketing, Data Analysis, Copywriting and Visual Design. Together we make our online store and the dialogues with our customers better every day, thus ensuring the best conversions and customer experiences.
 

Your profile

You are commercial, creative, enterprising and you understand exactly how to reach, convert and satisfy these customers online. You fully understand how to seduce online and what it takes to convert a visitor to a lead and ultimately to a new satisfied customer. You look at the bank through the customer's eyes and from that perspective you propose improvements in the customer experience. With your creativity you can come up with new propositions. You have the drive to achieve results together with your colleagues. When it comes to online marketing expertise, you set an example for your colleagues. You also understand good stakeholder management in a changing environment and you take your colleagues along in a results-oriented and data-driven approach.

You are a self-starter who quickly finds his/her own way within a complex organization.

 

Knowledge skills

  • HBO/WO work and thinking level with at least five years of experience in positions within an e-commerce environment
  • Experience of working in an extensive stakeholder field 
  • Proven creative in digital proposition development and implementation/execution
  • Knowledge of and experience with (innovative) online sales & engagement campaigns (paid & owned), social media marketing, mobile marketing and targeting
  • Proven skills to quickly convert abstract proposition concepts into concrete actions & activities to be performed, preferably in a corporate environment.
