ROLE OVERVIEW
To own and be the authority in all adidas brand activity at JD via digital channels. Develop and contribute to the overall adidas digital brand strategy alongside the Digital Brand Manager. To support the brand team and ensure execution across each campaign is seamless and representative of both the JD and adidas brands in each territory. Working collaboratively with the offline brand team to deliver a multichannel experience across retail and online.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of digital adidas campaigns across all JD digital channels, this includes working with each team (CRM, International, SEO, Paid Media etc) to build out a strategy for each campaign, maximising brand investment, reporting on key KPIs and ensuring Trade Terms are adhered to.
- Developing a content strategy in line with adidas to ensure all content produced will resonate with the JD consumer across all digital touchpoints.
- Budget management for digital investment, ensuring that all campaign objectives are aligned with the brands and that the planned activity will deliver these on time and within budget.
- Strategic planning with key accounts to ensure that we evolve digitally alongside our key suppliers. Working to optimise the JD adidas UX inline with adidas.com learnings and 3rd party partners.
- Working with wider stakeholders to plan and deliver strategic pilots that push the boundaries of what we can do, using digital innovation and all available resource to improve the jd multi-channel proposition.
- Creative briefing of 3rd party brand shoots and campaigns shot by JD, working with the wider digital teams on outputs and industry leading content.
- Management of adidas brand content series across IGTV & YouTube including talent selection, creative concept and roll out plan.
- Management of any adidas content for the JD In The Duffle Bag Podcast alongside the JD Influencer Team.
- Campaign analysis, looking at a range of metrics to establish the success and performance of a campaign, then taking this forward to shape all future campaigns.
- Involvement and contribution to all 3rd party brand activations/ events.
- Contribution to the JD YouTube strategy
- Working with the offline marketing team to ensure a seamless experience between multichannel, stores and any activation events.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE NEEDED
- Experience in a similar role working on behalf of a brand/ with brands. Having a strong understanding of brand guidelines and the challenges/ opportunities within the digital space.
- A passion for JD brands, especially adidas. Lives and breathes product with a strong understanding of distribution tiers especially within the sportswear market.
- Understanding of Google Analytics in order to report on campaign performance.
- Senior stakeholder management.
- Organisation, the role requires multiple focuses.
- Budget management and optimisation for large scale campaigns.
