• You will shape how our mission-critical enterprise software solutions are developed and deployed using optimized and automated CI/CD pipelines that ensure high quality products
• You will help design, build and support infrastructure and security technologies within the public cloud
• You will actively promote good engineering practices and standards
• You will stay on top of the latest engineering trends and practices and bring them back to the team when appropriate
• You will work with the team to continuously improve our craft of software engineering
• Preferred Location – RAL

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Computer Systems Networking, Information Systems/Science, or a related field
• Significant hands-on experience with Cloud Service Providers like Amazon Web Services
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies
• Experience installing and maintaining vendor products with complex infrastructure requirements is a plus
• Strong technical design, development, analysis and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Financial services experience is preferred

The Team

The AlphaSearch product team is part of the larger Research Technology function within Asset Management, developing software applications that support the investment research process across multiple asset classes. The team you will be working with is highly engaged and passionate about solving problems faced by Fidelity's Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts. We are committed to evolving our agile software development process and incorporating the newest technologies and practices. We are moving towards continuous delivery using modern technologies like Angular, Redux, Ionic, responsive CSS frameworks, AWS, Solr, and others.
