The Role
Fidelity’s Financial Intelligence Unit is seeking a motivated devops engineer with a passion for solving technology challenges and helping build, deliver, manage and consume business critical features, automating business processes and delivering capabilities to combat cyber fraud using a range of on-prem and cloud technologies and tools.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Computer Systems Networking, Information Systems/Science, or a related field
2+ years Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure, system, and security configurations and policies
Strong technical design and troubleshooting skills, problem solving and resolution (root cause identification) skills
Experience installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting and maintaining Java and web application software and system management tools on UNIX/Linux based environments
Experience delivering operational ML/Data Science solutions a big plus.
Hands-on experience with Cloud Service Providers like Amazon Web Services
Hands-on experience with two or more scripting languages – Python, Bash, Helm Charts, Yaml, JSON
Hands-on experience working container and serverless applications (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong experience with DEVOPS tools e.g., Jenkins, UDeploy, BitBucket Artifactory, Maven, HashiCorp, Apigee
Ability to automate tasks and create solutions to problems in a varied technology landscape
Knowledge of Cloud data stores (AWS S3, AWS RDS) and Cloud ETL/ELT tools (Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Apache Kafka)
Experience in supporting, securing, monitoring APIs
Experience with logging and monitoring systems
Experience planning and coordinating system upgrades and patching
Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills
The Team
Financial Intelligence Unit strives to protect Fidelity businesses, clients, customers, and reputation by providing effective and timely analytical and investigative services, optimally balancing fraud risk and customer experience. This team deploys advanced analytics to detect and combat fraud for enterprise-wide financial products and services, working closely with Cyber Fraud Investigators, surveillance analysts and technology groups including enterprise cyber security and customer protection teams, assembling and analyzing fraud risk signals in near real time.
