The Customer Success Engineering (CSE) GLOBAL Team’s mission is to offer our customers the best possible connected language and international AI experiences, improve productivity and foster a culture of collaboration through M365. Our focus is on delivering the best possible international customer experience, with locally relevant language and AI solutions.

Our Global Data Science team works closely with our International teams to help understand our customers experience and satisfaction with our M365 products. The team builds models, runs experiments and completes deep analysis to understand how we can make the international customers experience better and more relevant to their market and the language in which they wish to use our products.

Our Data Science team works with product teams to identify actionable insights to help our Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams customers be productive anywhere. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design and lead large scale analytical efforts that increase customer satisfaction with our products in international markets.
  • Mine and engineer data from large and varied data sets (structured/unstructured)
  • Research, evaluate, implement, and present statistical methods to provide actionable customer focused insights.
• Develop strong collaborative working relationships with our PM Leadership and Engineering PM’s.
• Communicate and evangelize methodologies and findings of business analyses to multiple levels of leadership across partner teams.
• Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with both our consumer and business products.

Qualifications

Key requirements and qualifications include:

• 5+ years’ experience in advanced data analytics, mathematical modelling, quantitative analysis or data modelling (using R/Python/SAS).
• 5+ years’ experience with programming in at least one of the following languages: R, Python, Java, C++ to implement statistical models, machine learning, and analysis.
• 3+ years’ experience with Data presentation tools like Power BI/Tableau/Qlik or equivalent.
• Experience with one or more machine learning and NLP frameworks such as NLTK, Stanford CoreNLP, spaCy, BERT, Scikit Learn, PyTorch, Tensor Flow, Spark, CNTK.
• A Master’s degree or PHD in Computer Science, Mathematics or a Data Science related discipline.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with hands on experience working with large datasets.
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organization and business partnership skills required.
