What you’ll achieve

As a Data Science Analyst, you will be responsible for contributing to business strategy and influence decision making based on information gained from deep dive analysis. You will develop new tools and applications from complex data sets, which will provide actionable and compelling recommendations for our engagement managers, the sales organization and our customers. You will design and build new predictive models, algorithms and probability engines.

You will:

• Play a significant role in enabling adoption of sophisticated algorithms and data mining strategies

• Turn data mined into actionable insights, through rapid innovation, applying data science to predict outcomes and establish KPIs that enable and automate LMS insights

• Design Data Pipelines & platform to enhance Machine Learning model for target opportunities

• Work with engagement managers, sales and product/solution SMEs to define and investigate customer trends

• Work with Dell Digital’s data science and automation teams to create tools/systems for automation and to accelerate ML lifecycle

Essential Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data science with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field

• Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C# or Java and familiar with data science tools, frameworks, and data engineering tools such as Python, Spark, TensorFlow, XGBoost

• Proficient in Data Mining, Data transformation and Database building (ETL, SQL OLAP, Teradata, Hadoop )

• Experience with programming languages (SQL, R, etc.), reporting and data exploration tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for use in analytics and insights, and data technologies such as Postgres, MS SQL

• Proven project management knowledge and experience and the ability to communicate at all levels of the business

Desirable Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or mathematics

• Knowledge of cloud-native computing DevOps, data streaming and extraction, parallelized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
