Under the direction of the Accounting Director, your primary responsibility will be to support the accounting and reporting for multiple Corporate Services business units and legal entities. You will have core responsibilities related to the monthly and quarterly close process. You will work closely with other Accounting teams, as well as Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Compliance, to understand business transactions and come to proper accounting conclusions. You actively participate in systems projects & process improvement initiatives.

The Expertise You Have

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

CPA and/or advanced degree preferred

3-5 years’ relevant experience

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and internal controls

The Value You Deliver

Lead the monthly close process and perform accounting functions (journal entries, account reconciliations) for multiple business units and legal entities.

Provide well written financial commentary to Senior Management.

Participate in projects and ad hoc requests.

Perform technical accounting research

Assist with financial reporting requirements

Participate in and prepare schedules for annual audits with external financial and regulatory auditors.

Respond to inquiries from management and other groups within Corporate Accounting, as well as other teams outside of Corporate Accounting, including Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and auditors.

Perform ad hoc requests and deliverables as needed.

The Team

The Corporate Services Accounting & Controllership Team is a dynamic team with a focus on continuous improvement and providing added value to our business partners and other Accounting teams. Corporate Services Accounting is comprised of multiple Business Units across various Legal Entities. Corporate Services expenses are intercompany billed to other regulated and audited legal entities. A high degree of accuracy and flexibility is required on this team.
