We are looking for a Sr. Computer Scientist to join the core Adobe Sign team and deliver next-generation document centric web experience across Adobe Sign and DC Web. The team is a dynamic Agile software development team focus on producing scalable and high-quality enterprise solutions.

Team Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement is the goal.
• Participate in story mapping, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews on a two-week cadence.
• Review each other’s work and hold team members accountable for high code quality standards.
• Deliver regular increments of potentially shippable functionality on time with high quality.

What you’ll do

• Have meaningful ownership. You’ll be involved in important decisions about how we build a common architecture across Adobe Sign and Acrobat Web and have a strong say in what we build next.
• Be a leader. Engage your peers, mentor junior team members, build partnerships with key partners across the matrix to achieve shared objectives.
• Write readable, performant, bug-free code.
• Look for ways to continually improve the product and process.
• Work effectively in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.

What you need to succeed

• MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with strong computer science fundamentals
• Real passion for new tools and technologies
• 10+ years of experience with Java/Spring/RESTful development

• Deep knowledgeable of secure, scalable, and highly available service development practices.

• Extensive experience developing on cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
• Hands on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/K8s, Docker)
• Hands on experience with JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, ES6, JavaScript frameworks
• Hands on experience with CI/CD
• PDF spec know-how is a plus
• Knowledge of WebAssembly is a plus
