Senior Compensation Analyst, Human Resources – Various Locations

As Senior Compensation Analyst at ADM, you will use your expertise and experience to assist with the development, implementation and administration of our competitive and equitable compensation programs for non-exempt colleagues that are crafted to meet our talent needs. You will play an integral role in the development of compensation programs, policies, and procedures to meet the fast-paced day-to-day needs of the business. This role requires someone who is forward thinking, tactical and highly analytical. 

Our North American headquarters is located in Decatur, IL; however, this role can be remote (Midwest candidates preferred). Business travel to Decatur, IL; Chicago, IL or Erlanger, KY will be required. 

Relocation assistance is available with this position.
 Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and review of compensation philosophy, strategy and policies for ADM\'s non-exempt colleague population.
  • Conduct internal and external market research, analyze competitive position and market trends, and make recommendations for pay programs and incentive pay.
  • Utilize analytical expertise to ensure compensation program design levels are appropriate and competitive.
  • Perform job evaluations on new and existing positions and facilitate the process of determining appropriate pay ranges, job codes, and classifications.
  • Partner with recruiters, HRBPs and hiring managers during the recruitment process to provide advice around compensation when needed.
  • Provide direction to supervisors to ensure legal compliance of all compensation policies and practices with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FSLA), Department of Labor (DOL) and Employment Standards Act (ESA).
  • Partner with HR Operations to improve process automation, data cleanliness and build governance around reporting.

Key Skills Required

  • Advanced Excel skills required for analysis and plan design.
  • Demonstrated mathematical aptitude with an understanding of business concepts.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to understand and manipulate data, understand complex job information and conduct job analysis.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or related field required.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred, but not required.

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience as a Compensation, Data, and/or Business Analyst; or, the equivalent, demonstrating the ability to analyze and provide insight on large volumes of data.
  • Previous experience in application of various compensation principles, laws and regulations.
