What you’ll be doing:
- Develop, review and deliver client growth plans for a portfolio of client accounts, strategically and proactively managing opportunities – thinking bigger than single projects and anticipating client needs
- Proactively support colleagues to provide consulting and production expertise for agreed projects, as well as recommendations for clients for effective solutions and opportunities for account growth
- Develop detailed proposals with associated commercials for client approval
- Owning annual communications plans and strategies for clients
- Strategic knowledge of clients – what their business objectives are, key issues etc. in order to display a genuine interest in their business, have meaningful conversations and deliver appropriate solutions
- Lead clear and effective briefings to the delivery and creative teams, working collaboratively to gain the best possible service for the client ensuring that resource is being used effectively
- Monitor progress of delivery against revenue forecast, and assist in resolving barriers to meeting forecast
- Control invoicing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring payments and schedule is agreed with client, all external costs are paid by client, invoicing is timely
- Work collaboratively with the team to develop proposition opportunities and products to meet client needs
- Respond to new business opportunities in order to secure new clients or projects (proposals, presentations, pricing) and support on RfPs at all stages
- Maintain project management ISO standards regarding the delivery of project plans, version control, file naming conventions, status reports and communications
- Peer review and proofread for technical and grammatical accuracy, marking clearly for the Design Team and before drafts and artwork are sent to the client and before communications are printed or published digitally
What we’re looking for:
- A higher qualification (HND or Degree)
- Relevant experience working in Pensions communications
- An understanding of Pensions legislation and key pension scheme types and pensions freedoms
- A demonstrable skill level in Microsoft Office
- Exacting attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and quality
- A willingness to provide and receive direction and respond positively to feedback
- Excellent management, organisational and communication skills - at all levels
- Ability to motivate others and develop a high performing team
- The ability and experience to handle multiple tasks under pressure
