This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join Enterprise Cloud Computing (ECC) and work in a diverse, open and transparent culture where you will contribute to powering the next generation of Fidelity’s digital platform services through innovative solutions using the latest cloud native technologies and leading-edge engineering practices. The position will involve developing streamlined capabilities that enhance the time to value for application teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public cloud, containers, and infrastructure as code to leverage in protecting the enterprise while crafting scalable platform services.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
3-5 years’ experience in security engineering or software/automation development
Passionate about working in a DevOps environment
Experience in software development process including CI/CD pipelines and SSDLC controls
Skilled in Python and implementing Infrastructure or Policy as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, OPA)
Proven experience designing and implementing container-based systems, preferably Kubernetes on EKS, AKS, or Rancher
Strong subject matter expertise in cloud security
Proficient in prototyping security tooling and controls for secure cloud practices at scale
Adept at communicating technical solutions, risks, and business value to peers and leadership in written, spoken, and presentation form
Dedication to learning new and complex technologies and able to teach others about those technologies

Building and securing multi-tenant platform services
Securing container workloads and images
Financial Services or other Regulated Industries
AWS or Azure Public Cloud Certification
Security Industry Certification (CCSP, CISSP, CSSLP, CISA, CCSK)

Designing and implementing automated cloud security solutions
Designing, implementing, and enhancing security controls for the cloud
Advocating for change while working with other team members and users across the Fidelity development and business community
Ensuring seamless user experience with advanced security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure
Maintaining and containing business risk as it pertains to the cloud infrastructure
Protecting Fidelity data and applications in the cloud
