Job Description:

The Role

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be an integral member of the dynamic ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) squad continuously innovating and improving our enablement platforms and capabilities to accelerate Fidelity’s journey to the cloud. You will work on a wide variety of cloud native stacks and technologies, leveraging cutting edge architectures and services.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field of study.

• Passionate about working in a DevOps culture.  

• Extensive hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong hands-on experience with two or more languages – Java, Python etc.

• Hands on experience working container and serverless applications (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience designing and architecting cloud native applications.

• Very strong technical aptitude to learn and passionate about new technologies and cloud trends.

• Experience mentoring and coaching engineers on best practice and engineering excellence.

• Strong communication and influencing skills.

• Experience working in globally distributed teams.

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Cloud Engineer to join Enterprise Cloud Computing (ECC), Pipeline Intelligence squad. You will work in a diverse, open, and transparent culture where you will contribute to powering the next generation of Fidelity’s digital services through innovative solutions using the latest cloud native technologies and leading-edge engineering practices.

Bonus skills

• Any certification in public Cloud (AWS/Azure) and/or Kubernetes is a plus.
