As a Cloud Engineer you will work within Observability platform team who are a highly collaborative, cross-functional team committed to improving the value of our technology solutions. The team blends deep technology & business expertise with a passion for exploring and implementing new emerging technologies. We are passionate about opensource contribution and participating in foundations like the CNCF while embracing a continuous learning mindset in an open and transparent culture. 

We are looking for a passionate technologist to be part of the Observability Platform squads who are delivering the next generation technology solutions and modernizing our cloud platforms.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Experience with 1 or more programming languages (Java, Python, Go, JavaScript etc.)

  • Understanding of software engineering best practices and principles

  • Hands on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment

  • Passion for the DevOps culture 

  • Passion for continuous learning

  • Experience building and supporting enterprise-scale resilient platforms/systems

  • Hands on experience with one or more observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, etc…)

Bonus skills

  • Hands on experience with AWS and/or Azure

  • Hands on experience with containers and orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes)

  • Cloud Certifications in AWS, Azure or Kubernetes

  • Experience supporting applications in an on-call rotation

The Observability Chapter, part of the Enterprise Cloud Computing Group, is responsible for the design, implementation, and development of the Enterprise Observability Platform. Our mission is to enable application teams to understand the operational health of their services to provide the best customer experiences and identify ways to improve the performance, resilience, and reliability of those applications and systems.
