The Security, Compliance, Identity & Management (SCIM) team accelerates Microsoft’s mission and bold ambitions to ensure that our company and industry is securing digital technology platforms, devices, and clouds in our customers’ heterogeneous environments. 

The Digital Security + Resilience team in SCIM is a growing team of software engineers, program managers, site reliability engineers and data scientists whose goals are to enable Microsoft to build the most trusted devices & services, while keeping our company safe and our data protected.

We’re looking for an experienced business manager to support our leadership, growing team and business.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day running of the business on behalf of the leadership team.
• Driving decision making and continuous awareness of critical issues across the organization, resulting in stronger business impact.
• Driving budget yearly planning process and ongoing reviews.
• Managing workforce planning activities.
• Maximizes and extends the leader while developing relationships with key partners, communicating the leader’s and group’s strategy, conducting external engagement, and thought leadership, and serving as a trusted advisor to the leader.
• Organizational health monitoring, planning, and development. Provides broad POV, drives health strengthening initiatives and empowering our culture, working with LT and HR partners.
• Ensures continuation of business operations, driving organizational strategy execution.
• Drives accountability managing business metrics such as scorecards, defining and tracking OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) across the team.
• Team connection: drive org-wide effective communication, flow of information, resources, and knowledge availability within the team and with global WW partners.
