Who Cox2M Is
Cox2M is a new Internet of Things (IoT) business line within Cox Communications that provides complete asset tracking and monitoring solutions. Purpose-designed sensors collect data from a variety of connected assets (everything from cars to power lines), enabling you to track, monitor, and manage both mobile and fixed assets at an industry-leading price-point.
What You’ll Do
Of course, as a Relationship Manager, you’ll do a lot of strategizing. You will work side by side with the GM of Auctions and Head of Commercial to create, drive and execute Cox2M’s strategic growth plan for the vertical. You will use a consultative sales approach to grow Cox2M’s market share and introduce and sell products and services to prospects in the auctions industry.
You’ll Also Tackle These To-do’s
Develop detailed go-to-market strategies to commercialize products for automotive auctions
Proactively obtain new customers through direct outreach or in collaboration with channel partners
Maintain and drive new revenue growth and market share
Meet or exceed product volume and revenue goals
Implement a consultative sales approach to improve customer experience and loyalty while strengthening relationships with the client
Use understanding of business strategy, operations, process analysis, design and improvement to make recommendations on how Cox2M can solve client needs
Monitor clients, the market and competitor activity, providing feedback to team leaders on key growth opportunities and business needs
Participate in key negotiations with clients and Cox2M leadership in coordination with others to secure/grow the business line
Work effectively with the Cox2M Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams to use all available resources to maximize opportunities to provide value to the client
Participate in trade and industry events to represent Cox2M as industry leaders

Qualifications:
What the Role Requires
5+ years of experience in sales or account management
Proven track record of successfully building relationships, consulting and selling value-added service solutions directly to senior leadership
Characteristics
Resourceful, creative, and results-oriented with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Skilled in negotiation techniques
Superior communication, organizational and technical/digital skills
Ability to achieve business results through influence, executive presence, strategic thinking and effective problem-solving skills
Willing to “roll up your sleeves†and “get your hands dirty†as the business scales
Characterized by a positive outlook and the ability to see opportunity and overcome challenges
Data-driven and committed to building a business that will be the dominant player in the market
A strong entrepreneurial spirit with passion for your work and the team
Nice to Have
BS/BA degree in related discipline desired (business, strategy, marketing, etc.)
Intricate and detailed understanding of the auto auctions business and auto industry
Record of consistently driving results through influencing with analytical support
Skilled in developing and finalizing business case scenarios
Significant experience developing and successfully implementing strategies on a large scale
