Job Description

ou’ll be part of the Teachers’ Pensions department and will work closely with multiple stakeholders engaging different elements of the business to ensure overall seamless delivery.

You’ll be involved in a variety of different projects from concept right through to delivery focusing on analysing root causes, business improvements, business changes and legislative changes to name but a few examples.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Establish and maintain key relationships with key business stakeholders (internally and externally)
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Teachers Pension legislation and administration
  • Support the project with in-depth technical understanding of control frameworks and processes
  • Identify areas of improvement and solutions to problems and articulate requirements in order to drive change and deliver improvements
  • Collate and deliver high-quality reporting
  • Use all appropriate means to gather a thorough understanding of the business’ requirements and priorities
  • Review and comment on business requirements set out by the Business Analysts
  • Actively promote the application of robust change management techniques across the business
  • Develop and mentor the Business Analysts
  • Understand the importance and deliver against individual objectives and to contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives and business results

What we’re looking for:

  • Business Analyst background
  • Understands and follows project management methodology
  • Ability to communicate effectively – both written and verbally to stakeholders
  • Analytical skills – possessing the ability to break down and take apart a particular idea or solution, selecting the best solution, and then presenting your selection in detail
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience of managing change initiatives, either as project manager or work stream lead
  • Good team player
