ASOS, have established a world class automated distribution centre in Berlin, Germany, underpinned by a number of technology specialists in warehouse management that provide software to help run the warehouse and it’s automation.
We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Supply Chain Technology team, with a primary focus on supporting the continuous improvement of warehouse systems including our state of the art multi million Euro warehouse automation technology, which currently supports the fulfilment of over 34m orders a year to our EU and selected non-EU markets and is targeting more growth.
The successful candidate will be joining a distributed technology team based across Berlin, London and Atlanta USA. The role of senior supply chain product owner will be primarily based at the Berlin distribution centre working with a local and international logistics and supply chain team.

What you’ll be doing:
Work with internal and external stakeholders both on shore and off shore, ASOS employed and 3rd party based suppliers employed by ASOS in capturing, analysing and validating business requirements for a range of systems within the distribution centre
Capture both functional and non-functional requirements – ensuring high quality deliverables at every stage in the process
Analyse processes across the distribution centre in establishing further efficiencies with a focus on the ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ process using the BPMN methodology
Challenge the business assumptions so that the delivered solutions meet both current and future needs
Work with the product owner lead in ensuring the team are working on the highest priority changes and challenge the priority of the changes where required
Collaborate with internal and external Development teams to deliver the agreed solutions, using potentially different methodologies while helping to shape the people, processes and systems that will allow ASOS to achieve its strategic goals
Be part of a project team collaborating across a series of critical transformation programmes, ensuring that deliverables are aligned to valid, verified, prioritised requirements, underpinned by robust, logical, maintainable processes
Work in collaboration with project managers, solution architects, software developers and QA analysts in delivering best in class software where needed
Be an active member of our product owner / business analyst Community
Some international travel may be required
We’d like to meet someone with:
Experience of being a Product Owner in a Technology department
Experience of working with Logistics, Warehousing and Carrier Management systems is highly desirable
Experience across the full project lifecycle in both structured and agile environments
Business process modelling (preferably BPMN)
Proficient in the English language is a must
