The Role

The Senior Business Analyst within the Customer Solutions Chapter works as a member of an Agile team to deliver product features and enhancements supporting our clients and customers. We work across the organization to breakdown the business vision into executable work, and we partner with business and technology to design, develop, test, and deploy features that deliver customer value. Successful candidates will be highly motivated, “self-starters” with a sense of ownership who can be successful working independently as well as within a team structure.

As a key member of the DC Innovations HeartBeat Squad, you will play a critical role partnering with the Squad Leader to define the future of HeartBeat and how the application can better optimize and support fiduciary monitoring activities for the Pooled Employer Plan, Flex and 3.16 Fiduciary products. HeartBeat is an internal tool managed by the Fidelity Fiduciary Administration Operations Team who you would also be partnering closely with. You will bring a “can do” attitude, willingness to learn the technical side to understand data movement between applications and helping to build out the roadmap.

The Expertise You Have

5+ years Business/Systems Analysis or Product development experience in an Agile environment

Agile mentality and experience with Jira, Confluence, Mural preferred

Bachelor’s degree required

Certified Scrum Master / Certified Product Owner is a plus

The Skills You Bring

You understand how technology can automate business processes and can effectively propose, challenge, and engage in ideation with business and technology teams in formulating software designs and solutions

Lead collaboration efforts with Business, Technology, Legal, Risk, and Compliance to define product features and capabilities

Analytical, detail-oriented approach to business analysis tasks including story writing, use case development, process design, product documentation and testing

Excellent listener with strong verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to facilitate meetings with various audiences, drive to decisions and document outcomes

Demonstrated problem solving skills with the keen ability to assimilate new information, draw conclusions and communicate ideas

The Customer Solutions Chapter works closely with a team of cross-functional, multi-disciplinary, and dedicated team members responsible for delivering specific business goals aligned to the Workplace Investing Product Roadmap. We are customer obsessed and driven to analyze, design and deliver features, products and services that align to our customer’s needs.

Customer Solutions is a global organization of approximately 170 business professionals and our mission is to drive the realization of results by translating business objectives into actionable plans and solutions that drive customer value! We support Business and Technology delivery of prioritized work utilizing Agile and scrum techniques within Fidelity Workplace Investing.
