Job Description

You will be given a breadth of opportunities to impact a key contract within the business and with the fact Capita is a 63,000 strong workforce business, there are always opportunities to progress in a wider team.

This role will be fully home based with flexible hours so you can work around a schedule to suit you!

What you will do:

  • understanding data across the business and recommend changes in order to continuously improve process and systems
  • driving changes in delivery and consumption of data across the account.
  • maintaining and Improving the Datawarehouse.
  • creating, maintaining and simplifying existing ETL processes.
  • working to agreed Standards and Practice, including adhering to the development framework.
  • identify customer reporting requirements, agree realistic timescales and communicate updates to meet their expectation.
  • maintaining high standards of data quality and integrity within the BI Reporting Datawarehouse.

Your experience will include:

  • Strong Working knowledge of Power BI & Office 365 suite of tools inc. Planner, Power Automate, etc.
  • Expert in the use of SQL and some Azure SQL – Experience of SSMS/SSRS
  • Proficient in SSIS
  • Proficient in all aspects of Excel & Access functionality.
  • Good Knowledge of database designs and understanding relational database concepts.  Familiarity of Kimball methodology a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of developing measurement systems & Reports. Operational Dashboards with drill down from Top to Bottom of organisations. Must have good experience of rolling out these dashboards across a business to drive operational change.
