Senior Automaton Test Analyst
Our technology teams in the UK work closely with HSBC’s global businesses to help design and build digital services that allow our millions of customers around the world, to bank quickly, simply and securely. We also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data centres and core banking systems that power the world’s leading international bank.
Our multi-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and back end developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, as well as project and programme managers.
We work in small, agile DevOps teams with colleagues around the world.
Following extensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Automaton Test Analyst to join Corporate Function IT, Enterprise Technology, Digital Business Services.
Principal responsibilities
Responsible for development, maintenance and troubleshooting Payroll Automation Regression Suite Using TOSCA
Gathering and analysing user requirements and translating them into system test case scenarios.
Work with other testing groups within the organization for the integration, pairwise and operation readiness testing.
Support System Acceptance Testing & System Integration Tests, Regression Testing
Developing corrective actions to help resolve bugs.
Identify data requirements
Execute test cases
Raise defects
Retest and close/reopen defects
Responsible for development and maintenance of Payroll Automation Regression Suite.
Contribute in status reporting to test lead/manager
Requirements
Knowledge of TOSCA Automation Tool to build regression suite.
Knowledge of SAP- Payroll processes.
Experience:
Proven hands-on Experience with TOSCA tool
Should be able to develop Quality and Stable Automation Test Scripts
Experience in performing Unattended execution using TOSCA Distribute execution agent
Ability to analyse the failures and update the scripts with required modifications
Understanding of Software testing lifecycle is must
Should be able to work independently
Experience in creating Test data required for automation test cases
Excellent communications and analytical skills essential
It would be good to have knowledge of SAP payroll processes
Should have working experience on Quality Centre/ Jira or any other test management tool
Requirements
We are looking for a TOSCA Tester who would develop, execute and maintain the automation scripts using Tosca tool.
Must have a proven hand on experience in the development of automation framework and automation test scripts.
Candidate should be able to execute test automation scripts and Publish test reports.
Must have experience of automating end to end integration level tests which includes multiple type of applications.
Knowledge of SAP- Payroll processes is big added advantage.
This role will primarily be Sheffield site based but would sonsider candidtaes from other locations across the UK
