The Sr. Analytics Manager is responsible for driving business results and empowering informed, data-driven product decisions by providing the product organization that supports the CADS agile Product team with timely insights and thought partnership. As an Analytics Lead for a Release Train as well as company/initiatives/projects that require extensive discovery effort, the Sr. Analytics Manager will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for questions related to analytics and site audience trends. They will also manage projects and the progress of supporting team members from conception through execution, conduct presentations, and makes recommendations to various levels of leadership. 

They are also responsible for ensuring analytics best practices and continuous improvement of analytics methodologies/ technologies to lower level of efforts for common tasks and to improve overall team efficiency and effectiveness.

Expected to perform these duties with little daily oversight.

Primary Duties & Key Responsibilities:

Champion a healthy team culure with the ability to coach team mebers and support the selection, training, development appraisal and work assignemnt of team members.

Serve as Analytics Lead for company initiatives/projects to establish business objectives, questions, and requirements with stakeholders in order to provide tactical consultation as an analytics subject matter expert for driving the best business outcomes. You will partner with cross-functional teams within the organization to support insight driven business decisions aimed at growth / business optimization with minimal manager's support. 

REVIEW RESULTS WITH VARIOUS SIZES AND LEVELS OF INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL AUDIENCES BY PRESENTING COHESIVE INSIGHTS STORIES WITH MINIMAL MANAGER'S SUPPORT

MONITOR THE HEALTH OF THE COX AUTOMOTIVE RETAIL SOLUTIONS GROUP'S PRODUCTS AND ITS BUSINESSES, ANTICIPATE BUSINESS NEEDS AND PROACTIVELY WORK WITH STAKEHOLDERS TO ESTABLISH REQUIREMENTS FOR ADVANCED RECURRING AND AD-HOC ANALYTICS SUPPORT, INCLUDING REPORTING, ANALYSES, ACTIONABLE INSIGHTS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO DRIVE GROWTH. SET PROPER DELIVERY EXPECTATIONS ACCORDING TO BUSINESS PRIORITIES WITH LIMITED MANAGER'S OVERSIGHT.

APPLY ADVANCED ANALYTICS METHODOLOGIES TO OUR ONLINE PROPERTIES' VISITOR BEHAVIORAL AND BUSINESS DATA, AND PROVIDE INSIGHTS NOT ONLY BASED ON HISTORICAL TRENDS, BUT ALSO FUTURE FORECAST TO INFORM OPTIMIZATION STRATEGIES. LEVERAGE SUPPORT FROM ANALYTICS SPECIALISTS BY COACHING THEM ON PROPER ANALYTICS STANDARDS AND VALIDATING THEIR WORK.

WORK CLOSELY WITH THE TESTING ANALYTICS MANAGER AND CONSULT STAKEHOLDERS ON FORMULATING TEST STRATEGIES, INDIVIDUAL TEST DESIGNS, MEASUREMENT AND ANALYSIS OF A/B AND MULTIVARIATE TESTING BY APPLYING PROPER TESTING PRINCIPLES AND STANDARDS.

SUPPORT THE MAINTENANCE OF ANALYTICS IMPLEMENTATION, MAINTENANCE, ACCURACY AND IMPROVEMENT OF DIGITAL ANALYTICS DATA CAPTURE, SYSTEMS AND TOOLS.  VALIDATE THE DATA IN OUR REPORTING AND ANALYZING SYSTEMS TO ENSURE CROSS-SYSTEM DATA ARE ACCURATE AND ALIGN TO HOW THE BUSINESS DEFINES THEM

ESTABLISH ANALYTICS STANDARDS BY IMPLEMENTING LEADING INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE AND BEST PRACTICES, INCLUDING DATA MINING, ANALYSES, REPORTING, VISUALIZATION, DATA STORIES, ANALYTICS THOUGHT PARTNERSHIP.

WORK CROSS-FUNCTIONALLY TO IDENTIFY CURRENT ORGANIZATION GAPS AND EMERGING TRENDS IN PLATFORM AND METHODOLOGIES THROUGH VENDOR REVIEWS, AS WELL AS TO PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS ON NEW SOLUTIONS TO CONTINUALLY IMPROVE ANALYTICS CAPABILITIES AND EFFICIENCIES. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK DIRECTLY WITH VENDORS TO DRIVE TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES AND TO RESOLVE ISSUES. 

WORK WITH MANAGER AND DIRECT LINE OF LEADERSHIP TO DEFINE PRIORITIES THAT ALIGN WITH EVOLVING BUSINESS PRIORITIES, ABILITY TO SET PROPER EXPECTATIONS AND MANAGE PROJECT/TASK PROGRESS WITH TEAM MEMBERS AND STAKEHOLDERS

Qualifications:

5+ YEARS IN AN ANALYTICAL/STATISTICS FOCUSED POSITION, PREFERABLY IN A WEB SITE ANALYSIS-ORIENTED ROLE.

BACHELOR'S DEGREE (B. A.) FROM FOUR-YEAR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY PREFERABLY BUSINESS OR ANALYTICAL FIELDS SUCH AS MARKETING, BUSINESS, ECONOMICS, FINANCE, STATISTICS, MATHEMATICS, PSYCHOLOGY, OR SOCIAL SCIENCE, 7+ YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN RELATED FIELD OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE. MASTER'S DEGREE PREFERRED

EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WITH WEB / DIGITAL ANALYSIS AND RELATED SOFTWARE PREFERRED (E.G., ADOBE ANALYTICS / OMNITURE, GOOGLE ANALYTICS, WEBTRENDS, ETC.).
