What you’ll achieve
As Sales Operations Analyst you will be responsible for maximizing efficiencies for Dell`s largest Customers/Opportunities, driving the Deal registration and SKU creation processes. You will work with sales, marketing, distributors, vendors, and cross-functional operation partners
You Will:
Provides Mailbox support and builds customer specific SKUs for Large Opportunities
Liaises between the Distributors/Vendors and sales organization.
Provides support by managing and or reporting on order fulfillment operations for large accounts.
Focuses on delivering a positive experience to our internal customer or partner.
Facilitates product and sales information flow.
Drives sales operations process improvements.
Serves as interface for order status and handles order escalation and SKU management.
May serve as primary interfaces with other internal functions, based on BU and/or regional requirements.
Provides pre-sales and/or post-sales operational support for the Federal Government Sales Team.
Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions.
Act as a liaison between Dell PM’s, Dell sales, PLM’s, and external distributors and / or vendors to resolve order status, fulfillment, and delivery inquiries.
Coordinate training, communication, and information dissemination to our sales force and cross-functional organizations across all relationship sales segments.
Essential Requirements:
Typically requires 2+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience
Ability to ensure all sales escalations are driven to resolve.
Ability to work cross functionally to accomplish operational requirements is a must.
Scope projects to ensure that they fall in line with operational criterion for support.
Obtains and analyzes data to complete business pertinent data analysis as required.
Desirable Requirements
Ability to map out processes and create work instructions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to coordinate with sales teams and various cross-functional organizations.
Understanding of Dell US Federal Government business would be a plus
Prior Knowledge of Dell applications, i.e., DOMS, DPS, YODA, HARMONY, D3, GFX, SPOT Module
Experience working with sales or in support of different business units.
- Uses judgment to balance and make tradeoffs on multiple priorities and makes recommendations to management around priority setting/planning.
