Responsibilities

  • Owns the international expansion plan for the Global Advertiser Business Team (GABT). Via deep customer, marketplace and industry understanding, directly informs the international market prioritisation, Sales Operations and long-range planning in partnership with global and regional teams across the GABT, Operations, Sales and Engineering.
  • Partners broadly across Microsoft Advertising & consumer experience and ad platform Engineering teams to connect the dots in supply and demand work and the full breadth of Microsoft Advertising and WebXT (search, native, display, consumer, vertical). This work is focused on full end-to-end alignment of the international plan (inclusive of vertical & field priorities) and ensuring joint Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Researches evolving industry & customer trends and the International competitive landscape to understand and clearly articulate implications for our business – develop and land strategic recommendations with our business leadership.
  • Works broadly across the international business and our legal teams to understand, quantify and scope (1) new opportunities for revenue growth/partnership and (2) the implications of regulatory and policy changes - balancing risk with revenue.
  • Works widely across MSA channels, integrating a unified International point of view on product priorities, orientating driving mindshare to value and customer experience.
  • Partner with Supply teams to model the impact of new supply sources and programs, ensuring network health is maintained.
  • Be a Strategic Advisor: Provide thought leadership, advice, influence and insight to partners across other teams.
  • Develop strong working relationships throughout the broader matrixed organization.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND extensive experience in business marketing, analytical or sales roles.
  • Considerable experience working within the ad industry, display and native ad buying ecosystem, in particular in a product-focused, partnership, BD or other commercial role.
  • Experience of applying self-led sophisticated analytics to solve complex business questions, turning large scale data into actionable insights and decisions.
  • Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on approach to data analysis/data mining with a strong focus on quality. MS Excel required, SQL and PowerBI preferred.
  • Superior communications skills, both verbal and written and ability to engage with business partners and executives to drive key decisions. Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate complex findings to focus on the critical issues and opportunities.
  • Outstanding cross-group collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail oriented, thorough, and very strong drive for results.
