What you’ll achieve

As a a Senior Analyst, Growth Marketing Data Science, you will be part of our Global Growth Marketing organization which is spearheading Dell’s Digital Transformation by driving innovation in the way we deliver advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technology that can help us better serve the needs of our customer, optimize our customer experience, marketing touchpoints and optimize our business outcomes. This position will merge data science, data engineering and modern software practices to help teams transform data into algorithmic models that can generate insights and actions at scale.  The candidate will use technical knowledge and industry expertise to formulate product strategies and identify how to accelerate our embedded Data Scientists to deliver better models that can integrate seamlessly with our global processes.

You will:

• Lead the implementation of the modern artificial intelligence and data science techniques and tools, to support data science teams to build and deliver artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions

• Define and build the data and feature sets that can be applied and re-used by our multiple Marketing data science teams

• Work with internal stakeholders and users to validate business and user needs, translating them into user-centric product roadmaps that address the top Data Science opportunities

• Utilize a range of applicable technologies (e.g., programming languages, compilers, assemblers, debuggers, other tools) to deliver Data and Artificial Intelligence at scale

• Participate in all development stages from planning and design to development, testing, deployment and documentation

Essential Requirements

• Engineering Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

• 1 to 2 years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 1 years with a Master’s degree

• Demonstrated experience writing, documenting and maintaining high quality code with object-oriented programming languages such as C# or Java

• Experience with Extract, Transform, Load operations for Batch and Streaming Data operations across Structured and Unstructured Data

• Experience with big data technology (Hadoop, Apache Spark, etc.) and data migration from relational database to big data technologies

• Proficiency in data modelling, data optimization for both relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SqlServer, Mongo, Cassandra, Couchbase, Hadoop, Redis )

Desirable Requirements

• Experience running and optimizing Data Science and Machine Learning Data Pipeline workloads

• Experience with cloud-native computing, cloud platforms, microservices architecture, modern DevOps, Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
