As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for management and delivery of the Wholesale Strategy at a senior level. You will be the product expert for Wholesale and the key interface between the Buying teams and the Wholesale Partners. As well as being the product expert, you will also be accountable for establishing budgets and overachieving sales and profit targets for the Wholesale function.  

 

What you’ll be doing:  

Supporting the Wholesale leadership team in driving and implementing the Wholesale Strategy; driving growth, diversification into new product ranges and managing opportunities and risks. 

  • You will have strong focus on anticipating and meeting the needs of the Wholesale customer. 

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with the Senior teams at our Wholesale partners.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal brand teams being able to influence and communicate at Director / Head of level. 

  • Work alongside the Wholesale Trading Manager on developing the seasonal budget plans with Wholesale partners realising growth opportunities. 

  • Work closely with Wholesale Merchandising team ensuring awareness of partner budgets and minimising any risks to achieving the department sales plans. 

  • Own the Order Book process alongside Wholesale Merchandising team.

  • Work closely with Commercial teams to ensure product ranges meet the needs of all Wholesale partners and mitigate any gaps in OTB.  

  • Analyse the business and react in a timely manner, identifying opportunities for improvement, beyond general trading to contribute to the partner strategy and growth of Wholesale. 

  • Attend trade meetings updating senior business leaders on partner sales performance.  

  • Attend department product reviews and actively provide insight into product requirements.  

  • Work with Design and Global Buying on exclusive ranges and product extensions where required. 

  • Oversee the sample photography process and uploading of new lines onto the Wholesale selling system.

  • Host partner visits and create agenda that will ultimately lead to growth.

  • Provide coaching and guidance to team, recognizing development needs and actively upskilling and encouraging participation on training courses. 

  • Responsibility of day to day workload of team. 

 
We’d love to meet, someone with:  

  • Established Wholesale Account Management experience, preferably within a fast-paced fashion brand.

  • Proven success driving accounts and implementation of account management at a senior level.

  • Fashion trends interest and knowledge.

  • An established track record of driving business forward. 

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong and effective partner relationships at a senior management level.

  • Ability to spot opportunities and mitigate risks.

  • Possess excellent commercial awareness and ability to drive profit. 

  • Good analytical skills with the ability to use results to influence and negotiate effectively. 

  • Ability to display excellent inter-personal and presentation skills. 

  • Proven experience of managing and developing a team.
