Job Description

THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a passionate Seller Development Coordinator to join our creative and innovative ASOS Marketplace team to support our growing community of sellers through account management, education, and insights. This role reports to the Seller Manager and will be instrumental in supporting the continued growth, development and retention of sellers on ASOS Marketplace.

You will be the direct point of contact for our sellers by providing account advice and coaching to increase account performance, as well as support our Compliance team to resolve time-sensitive account queries. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your account management skill set with one of the most creative and entrepreneurial fashion communities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively manage relationships with our sellers to drive retention, accelerate their growth, and improve their shop quality

  • Utilise data and insights to understand seller performance and develop content to drive positive results and help individual sellers grow

  • Be the main point of contact and develop strong working relationships with the sellers in your remit, including regular face to face visits and calls

  • Support our Product team by ensuring we’re capturing the voice of sellers to help improve seller experience

  • Support the Marketing team to coordinate seller content for key campaigns and events

  • Facilitate engagement between sellers by planning relevant community discussions and moderating channels on our seller forum

  • Support the new business team to accelerate the seller onboarding process, where needed

Key skills/experience that we are looking for...

Previous experience working directly with vintage clothing or fashion brands / marketplaces would be an advantage but is not a requirement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen interest in fashion and sustainable fashion, and will have the following attributes:

  • Extremely organised and able to manage time efficiently

  • Able to adapt and respond to change

  • Data-driven with excellent attention to detail

  • Motivated and a self-starter

  • Team player

  • Service orientated

  • Passionate about fashion and can research and communicate upcoming trends effectively
