The Red Lion is a thriving pub in the heart of Brimington on the outskirts of Chesterfield town, which offers the best of all worlds to the community. Well established as a sports and weekend entertainment venue in the area, with the benefit of a popular function room there is plenty for the operators to capitalise on. Outside is a beer garden area, with the benefit of a heated marquee also expanding the capacity. A good sized commercial kitchen also offers the benefit of an own food operation, with the pub well established for Sunday lunches.
We are looking for an experienced operator or team/couple with background in running functions and managing bookings, with a passion for sports and weekend entertainment. Ideally with a successful history of delivering a their own great food offer as home cooked/Sunday lunches is key part of the offering in the Red Lion.

Things to consider In addition to the £5k security deposit and legal fees required for this agreement, you will need to cover your own insurance, except building insurance, which well cover. Also, youll want to start thinking about your team; taking care of paying them and all other employment matters. Before we all sign the agreement and see you heading into a whole new life, youll just need to show us proof that youve had independent financial advice from an accountant and solicitor, as dictated by the Statutory Pub Code. And, of course, obtain your personal licence (which well help with) and complete your induction training. Its a five-year commitment, so you have loads of time to build the business and get it performing brilliantly but, if you do want to leave early, theres always the option of six months notice with a break clause in the contract.
