Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join our CISO (Chief Information Security Office) Global Cyber Operations team. The Global Cyber Operations Team plays a pivotal role at Aviva; they protect the global estate by detecting and preventing cyber-attacks from occurring.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about cyber security, has some technical experience in a cyber security related field, someone who is proactive and wants to stretch themselves further by rapidly growing their skills and experience. Our ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with high volume tasks.

This vacancy would suit somebody who is interested in Domain Management and Brand Protection, who also has an interest in exposure to additional areas of cyber operations when opportunities arise.

Please note: this role will involve out of hours work for which additional remuneration will be paid.

A bit about the job:

You will be confident to centrally govern and manage Aviva’s Domain Portfolio. The successful candidate will work with external stakeholders to detect and identify domains which may have been registered and present a risk to Aviva and our customers. You will be accountable for uninterrupted service delivery and proactively reducing any cyber related risks. 

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Ability to present information and strategic thinking at appropriate levels to internal and external stakeholders

  • Act as subject matter expert for cyber security events and or incidents, including defining action plans

  • Previous experience or in depth understanding of DNS, zone files and domain takedowns

  • Organised, Proactive, problem solver, fast learner, Independent

  • Triage and manage multiple priorities with a focus on risk awareness

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Starting salary between £45,000 - £60,000 depending on skills, experience, and qualifications
