We have a vacancy for a Perimeter Security Manager to join our security team.

The Perimeter Security Manager leads a key Group CISO team in the 24 * 7 protection of Aviva, customers, employees and data against the ever-increasing threat of cyber-attacks. As the manager of this team, you will be responsible for email security, web security and domain management including the takedown of fraudulent websites. This protection is provided globally across the Aviva markets and you will be responsible for liaising and providing information to the stakeholders who receive these global services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage technical teams in the effective support, maintenance and improvement (otherwise known as ‘Run’) of a defined set of CISO services.

• Accountable for perimeter service provision and availability, incidents, problems, policies, technical refreshes, disaster recovery, capacity and demand, performance

• Effective management of multi-function cyber security team and multiple suppliers to support the provide 24 * 7 protection against cyber attacks

• Act as gatekeeper to new deliveries into the Production environment ensuring there are no risks to service or continuity and effective change impact on run

Skills & Experience required:

• Demonstrable experience of managing complex high pressurised situations to a successful conclusion preferably within a high pressurised financial services organisation

• Ability to manage complex issues ensuring delegated actions are completed to the appropriate standards

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

• Business orientation, able to translate IT into business terms

• Relevant system experience and management,

• Management of multi-function operational team

• Preferably Akamai, Bluecoat proxy and Domain Management experience
