Job Description:

Help strengthen our team as our Security Assurance/ Cyber Security Analyst. Home based role with a lot of scope for progression.

A great opportunity to join our team as our Security Assurance Analyst (Cyber/Information Security) to mitigate and minimise risks of business impact related to information security and cyber risks across all divisions and business units.

Seeking candidates who want to build their cyber/information security career with us, so graduates/interns/apprentices who want to build on their cyber/information security experience or ones in technical roles like service desk/IT support that want to get into cyber security, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Vulnerability Analysis – receiving, assessing and supporting the creation of remediation tasks following penetration tests and vulnerability scans.
• Risk Treatment Management - ensuring that all security issues from audits or risks raised are recorded, with ownership, and tracking remediation tasks to closure/mitigation/acceptance of risks.
• Exception Management – receiving, assessing and ongoing tracking of security exception requests covering security policy, standards, risks and vulnerabilities through to acceptance/rejection.
• Security Incident Management – 24x7 coordinating, tracking and reporting of security incidents working alongside DISOs and business unit managers.
• Security Reporting - working with key service providers to deliver a picture of the security stature at Group, Divisional and Business Unit levels.
• Supplier Security Due Diligence - assessing supplier security arrangements using a mix of questionnaire and face to face visits based on priorities and risks.
• Security Guidance and Information – acting as ‘front door’ for the Security Team to provide guidance and information as requested and manage security service catalogue requests.

What we’re looking for:

• Cyber/Information security degree or equivalent experience
• Keen interest in cyber/information security and understanding of key concepts and protocols
• Desire to build own Information Security knowledge.
• Experience in a service desk or IT support role
• Self-motivated individual with flexible approach to working.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical problems to non-technical business stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Active or ability to obtain SC clearance

Desired Skills/Experience

• Industry recognised Information Security and/or audit qualification.
• Experience of working in a controls testing/assurance environment.
• Some commercial experience in Penetration Testing and / or Security Monitoring
