What you’ll be doing: 

• Supporting Partners with personal development, identifying skill gaps and creating opportunities for them to develop themselves

• Delivering operational KPIs through their team members ensuring business metrics are met

• Maximising the utilisation of resource to create operational efficiencies

• Monitoring and benchmarking operational processes ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to

• Supporting Department Managers to develop and deliver seasonal and high volume operational trading strategies 

• Inspiring and motivating Partners to maximise their potential, through effective coaching and feedback, and encouraging them to involve themselves in Partnership democracy

• Empowering Partners to do more, recognising, celebrating and rewarding great performance and to challenge and tackle poor performance

• Developing a continuous improvement culture within the site, valuing contributions of all team members

• Inspiring Partners to contribute to a culture of safe working practice, applying health and safety management standards, that meets legislative requirements

What you’ll need:

• Previous experience of leading a team working within a logistics/supply chain environment

• Experience working within online fulfilment

• Management of a change agenda in a logistics/supply chain environment

What you may bring: 

• A Level/Degree educated or equivalent

• Capable of covering other operations to provide support as required
