Job Description:

  • Plan sprints and take complete ownership of Sprint ceremonies including Kick off and Retrospectives 

  • Ensures that items are estimated before entering sprints and team is fully aligned and committed to sprint goal 

  • Ensures that commitment to items in the sprints is in accordance with sprint capacity 

  • Conducts daily stand up and ensures that task board is updated on daily basis 

  • Work actively with the team to mitigate impediments impacting successful completion of iteration/sprint goals 

  • Guides team towards principle of self-organization and provide relevant support using servant leadership style 

  • Fosters an environment where team can reflect on its work and can progress collectively towards more mature model 

  • Enables coordination between multiple sprint teams and ensures that they are aligned with Product goal 

  • Effectively manages any influence of external stakeholders to bring changes when Sprint is in progress   

  • Engages with Product owner to ensure that sprint teams have got good visibility of items in the backlog and ensures that any outstanding questions are aligned 

  • Responsible for transparency for sprints in terms of progress via reporting which includes team velocity and average points per feature 

  • Effective communication with various stakeholders such as Product Owners, Project Managers, Support team and Product Managers 

  • Keep abreast with Agile Scrum best practices and trends
