We seek a strong team player with a broad expertise in bioanalytical methods to provide state-of-the-art analytical support for our innovative RnD product pipeline. 

The position holder has a passion for performance, takes ownership for innovating towards lean and efficient bioanalytical workflows along with a strong interest in data science and high throughput automated systems.The focus of this hands-on-role to support the process development teams is establishing, adapting, optimizing and executing state-of-the-art analytical methods and driving innovative digital and automated solutions for bioanalytical challenges. The incumbent is a reliable individual with a strong sense for detail, urgency and accountability regarding review reporting and presentation of analytical data. 

The incumbent has strong analytical problem solving skills and is proficient in interpreting of complex scientific data, leading of structured analytical root-cause investigations and compilation of scientific reports. Additionally, this role may include working in international project teams related to analytical topics. The position holder plays a key role in acquisition and maintenance of complex bioanalytical instrumentation, laboratory documentation and laboratory safety. Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Accountable for experimental hands-on routine testing of development samples Operate complex analytical instruments ( automated DNA extraction stations and liquid handling stations) and software. Execute and optimize methods including plate-based assays ( ELISA, HTRF), capillary electrophoresis, HPLC-based assays, qPCR, complex protein-biochemical assays ( PTMs activity, potency assays).Accountable for data review, reporting and presentation using electronic laboratory notebook. Monitoring and control of method performance. Responsible for interpretation of complex scientific data ( qualification of analytical methods), leading analytical root-cause investigations, managing deviations and proposing next steps Compilation of comprehensive scientific reports in EnglishDriving innovative solutions towards lean analytical workflows using digital tools and high throughput automated systems Accountable for maintenance of complex equipment, compilation of method procedures, technical protocols and safety documentation. Communicate (written, oral in English) with customers, project-teams and external partners.Support assay tech transfer and data  in the following areas :Sound scientific background in a life science discipline, preferably protein biochemistry or biotechnology with strong analytical focus. Knowledge in data science is beneficial. Proficient in hands-on executing a broad portfolio state-of-the-art bioanalytical methods and operating complex analytical instrumentation. Experienced in innovating for efficient bioanalytical workflows with a focus on high throughput automation and digital solutionsProficient with standard office, laboratory and statistical software; practical knowledge in advanced bioanalytical software. Knowledge in data science software or scripting is beneficial.Proficient in compilation of comprehensive scientific  in analytical problem solving, knowledge in method qualification.
