Functional Knowledge –
• Knowledge of Kronos T&A preferred
• Proficient knowledge of Excel
• Confident in communications with all levels of management.
• Ability to manage own workload
• Confidence to provide feedback to managers & colleagues
Business Expertise –
• Working in a previous planning, or scheduling role
• Understanding of a distribution centre environment (24/7 shift patterns etc)
Leadership –
• No leadership experience required
• Role is that of a technical support to the Scheduling Area Leader
• Support other members of the team
Problem Solving –
• Ability to review different sources of information to make an informed decision & output
• Ability to follow pre-determined SOP’s but also to use own experience, and judgement to ensure the correct outcome
• Good attention to detail required
• Confidence in raising issues to Scheduling AL, or relevant department manager
Nature of Impact –
• Responsible for planning Flexible workforce
• Responsible for maintenance of Kronos T&A system
Area of Impact –
• Ability to impact colleague payroll & available resource in the DC
Interpersonal Skills/Key Relationships –
• Ability to communicate Face to Face, through e-mail and also on telephone with all levels of colleagues through to management
• Work closely within own team – covering responsibilities as required
