Job Details 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or greater from an accredited College or University.   

Preferred Degrees: Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration.     

Experience:   

Minimum 3 years’ Logistics experience preferably in SAP R3 and/or FourKites platforms. 

Logistics and/or Supply Chain Certification from accredited association is a plus (i.e. APICS, ASCM etc).  

Related project or change management certification is a plus. 

Role Definition: The Supply Chain Analyst – Logistics, supports the supply chain community in operation and execution of Logistics and related systems and processes.  The position reports to the Regional Supply Chain Supervisor, providing operational support to users, while also working as member of a global team to implement and optimize solutions across multiple transportation modes and service archetypes.  Willingness to accommodate working across multiple time zones is a must. 

Note that this position will focus primarily on support of (1) the FourKites shipment visibility platform and (2) Network Optimization reporting, with growth into other areas of Logistics operations support expected.               

Key Responsibilities: 

Business Process Support and execution: 

Provide daily support to enable team-members executing processes to accomplish tasks by troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving process and systems issues. 

Serve as a focal point for one or more of the cross-functional business teams / Power Users   

Define and implement process flows for Fourkites GPS program and customer level tracking efforts.  

Facilitates close collaboration with IT analysts to effectively resolve issues​. 

New Business Arrangements:  

Support integration of Supply Chain processes for each business including acquired businesses.  

Design/Develop/Test– work with the IT and user teams to lay out new processes which meet business objectives utilizing corporate systems and benchmark best practices.   

Maintain process documentation for existing and developed processes​. 

Training:  

Develop return logistics process for Eastman GPS tracking units and communicate globally to impacted customers. 

Train new users in existing processes​ and coach best application of supply planning tools and methodologies  

Communicate any and all process changes to end-users to ensure standard processes are understood and used. ​ 

Research and Improvements: 

Analyze existing processes for hand-offs, inefficiencies and duplication of effort; recommend and promote system and/or process improvements for suboptimal areas of performance.   

Collaborate with other process owners to ensure processes are aligned and meet business process requirements. 

Develop enhanced processes using Fourkites data and outputs serving to streamline current logistics operations. 

Assist as project team member for improvement projects including Integrated Business Planning (IBP); robotic process automation (RPA); Artificial Intelligence (AI); and order fulfillment in a FourKites operating environment. 

Maintain system integrity by managing IT security for IGSC, testing upgrades/new functionality, establishing new master data such as new plant setup, etc. 

Actively participate as subject matter expert to adjacent initiatives and improvement projects as defined.   

Provide backup for Supply Chain Analysts in both home and globally dispersed Centers of Excellence. 

Participate as subject matter expert in improvement and/or innovation projects utilizing LEAN, DMAIC, and/or Agile methodology as appropriate.

Skills required: 

Advanced knowledge of SAP R3 

Working knowledge of Logistics, network optimization, and Transportation Management Systems, processes, and methodologies.    

Knowledge of compliance requirements specific to Latin America Region 

Ownership and results orientation 

Strong communication skills – verbal, written, listening;  Spanish and English required.  Portuguese beneficial. 

3+ Years Supply Chain or Chemical Industry Experience 

Excellent attendance and reliability 

Understanding of quality principles  

Can articulate basic compliance areas of focus 

Self Starter: Detailed and Results oriented 

Excellent follow through skills 

Power Bi or data analysis capability
