SAP BPC Consultant

Job Description:

The SAP Functional Consultant is responsible for supporting the specification, technical delivery and ongoing support of BPC software modules and applications in the SAP S/4 HANA system. 

This involves specification and configuration of components; supporting and supervising the technical deliverables of third party suppliers and SIs within the consultants own modules, and providing input to and/or reviewing SAP technical content of other related functions, including testing, training materials, process content, and supporting data migration design and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution design / gap-fit for own module(s)
• Change Requests (consultation to GPOs, documentation, design)
• 2nd/3rd Line Business-facing functional support of the BPC module, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Support for relevant data within the BPC module
• Support for development of training materials for BPC
• Produce and/or support testers in production of SIT & UAT scripts
• Specification of any WRICEF items for BPC
• Unit testing of WRICEF items for BPC
• Investigation & resolution of software defects
• Design of security role content for BPC module (in conjunction with SAP Security Team)
• Knowledge transfer to support teams (e.g. Service Desks) and to business Admin users
• Ownership and maintenance of relevant Documentation

Key Experience:

• Extensive experience with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) software, preferably BPC 10.x architecture.
• Experience with both the Consolidation and Planning capabilities of the modules.
• Experience with both S/4 HANA and legacy ECC or R/3 SAP ERP platforms, including hands on configuration experience, design, consulting and delivery.
• Experience with related technologies (incl. ABAP, BI/PI) desirable.
• Experience with current SAP reporting an analytics tools (such as SAC and BW) is desirable.
• Extensive experience with relevant modular integration points and best practices, especially with SAP Finance (FI/CO) and related modules (PS, SD).
