Position Summary:  Responsible for dry and/or wet cleaning of equipment specific and area cleaning within all areas of the facility.

• Understand LOTO safety, including hydraulic and pneumatic control lock outs. Must be trained in chemical safety, including PPE and titration of chemical solutions.
• Must have a solid working understanding of GMP’s and food safety, including allergen controls.
• Must be able to learn and follow the multi-step cleaning process and tasks from EAM.
• Must be trained (in-house) on facility food safety plan.
• Must understand brush controls, GMP’s, color guidelines for tools and proper use of tools for food safety.
• Must be able to learn and demonstrate compliance to food sanitation standards, including post-clean inspections and pre-op inspections (What Is Clean).
• Must be able to be licensed in use of pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, scissor or boom lifts.
• Participate as an effective team member in all department functions and meetings.
• Support operations with changeover sanitation cycles and Class A’s.
• Clean and maintain basic sanitation tools, and maintain 5S control of sanitation storage/supply areas.
• Successfully complete all sanitation training requirements
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Sanitation Leader.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to be licensed in use of pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, scissor or boom lifts.
